OMEN by HP 25 Display
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I purchased this monitor a few years back and never really noticed any issues until I purchased another 144 hz monitor from Acer/Asus. I changed all the display settings for the monitors to 144 hz and updated everything including drivers, etc. I am a gamer where refresh rates matter a lot. Whenever I do the reaction timed tests, my acer/asus monitors show that my reactions are 155 m/s while for the HP Omen, it is always around 170-180 or so. I have done this maybe a few thousand times and so I know I have enough samples. Then I started hearing others/seeing posts about falsely advertised 144hz HP Omen monitors. I was wondering what is the cause of this? I was promised 144 hz and bought it for that reason and I am out of warranty currently, but not sure if that really matters for falsely advertised items?

Thanks,

Kevin
