I have an HP all in one that has an HDI input jack.  I use an HDMI cable to hook up the all in the one to my laptop but I am not seeing teh display on my laptop extended to my all in one.  What am I doing wrong?

When requesting help you should always include the make/model (i.e. p6-xxxx) of the computer and/or monitor. This information is necessary for us to review the specifications of them.  Also, which operating system are you running?

 

Before you answer my questions, here is a video that may help you solve your problem if you are running Win 10:

The computer that I am trying to use as a monitor with my laptop is an HP Envy all in one 24 n014 Touch. Product Number M9Z68AA#ABA

So I kept trying to do this using an HDMI cable. Still no luck so I tried to hookup wirelessly and that did the trick. Thanks for the video.
