Yes, rolling back the driver on the ATI Radeon HD4200 fixed mine as well.  Thanks!

The rollback worked for me.  A recent (two days ago) update in the driver apparently reduced, for example, my horizonal screen resolution from 2048 to 1280 (!).  The roll back corrected this.

THANKS!!!

Finally was able to roll back the driver. On earlier attempts I did not have that option, the box was grayed out. For some reason it finally became an available option so I did it and now back to normal. phew!

Tried to follow your instructions but the menu item to roll back the driver was faded out and not functional

Worked for me.  Thanks so much - I'd give that whiz an extra xgiving present!

Your solution  (Device Manager / Display Adapters / Properties / Driver / Roll Back Driver) worked!  Many, many thanks!

Thank you so much! I followed your instructions and I did it too!

What a relief!  It worked.  I have been working on this for 3 days until I finally found this.  Thank you ever so much and to your friend.

Unable to rollback and unable to find any additional drivers to go back to and unable to find the original driver on HP site to start over. UGHHHH!!! This is now the 4th day messing with this. I tried my monitor on a different computer and it works fine so something has happened on this one and frustrated as this is my business computer.

Somebody please help me get back in operation Smiley Happy
