my laptop has a cursor issue. it automatically moves towards the search bar and starts to shake there in the mean time im unable to move the cursor thanks to my laptop being a touchscreen thats where i have to use my fingers on the screen to keep working and then also it sometimes these touch doesnt work. the cursor problem gives me so much of hinderance in my work.i want it fixed asap. also i check with the updates regularly but still this problem arises every day these days. regardless of that i also have an antivirus software in my laptop installed. so i guess there is some issue with the laptop itself. i hope to get my laptop repaired asap. thank u

@Shravani_Nichat -- is it possible that the palms of your hands are too close to the touch-pad, to cause the mouse-point to move as your hands move?

If your laptop is brand-new, it may be defective. In that case, return it to where you purchased it, and exchange it.

If your laptop was purchased with the last 30 days, you are entitled to free telephone-based support from HP.

If your laptop was purchased within the last 12 months, exercise the HP Warranty to get HP to repair/replace it, at their cost.
