I believe the product ID for your 590-P0074na is 7GR25EA

According to that parts list  (the product ID url) you have only a 180 watt power supply

BeemerBiker_0-1666988149616.png

There are no 180 watt power supplies that have an 8 pin PCIe power connector that I know of.

The motherboard referenced by @banhien is named "Lincs" and this table lists known alternate power supplies

Possibly one of the 310 watt might fit but I would not bet on it.   In addition it may not have an 8pin PCIe for that matter.

Best to look at the power supply and see exactly what you got and measure it then compare to what is available on eBay.

@Jonno3,

Welcome to our HP User Forum!

As @BeemerBiker mentioned, the HP power supply spreadsheet he referenced suggests that this 400-watt power supply is compatible with your Lincs motherboard: HP L04618-800, which has a 6+2 PCIe power connector which you asked for in the first place.

Of course, it depends on your graphics card's power needs if 400 watt is sufficient.  You'll have to check if it is.

This 400-watt power supply can be purchased online, sometimes as low as $110 like right now [10/28/22 - 14:33 MST]: https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2334524.m570.l1313&_nkw=hp+L04618-800&_sacat=0&LH....

Hope this was helpful.

Kind Regards,

Hi

@Jonno3

if you don't specify, you will only have a series of suggestions like here..
Your budget, what type of graphics card do you plan to buy, etc.
Any graphics card, will not fit your computer, you need to check some points, as mentioned in the very good KB of @old_geekster

Upgrade Video Card - HP Support Community - 7481981
The box, being perhaps not very spacious, it will be necessary to check that the graphics card, is not too big!
Number of connectors required, power recommended by the manufacturer of the model chosen

You have this motherboard

motherboard specifications, Lincs
the maximum you can use as HP power supply is this

500w L05757-800
