Product All in one C425Z. 2 years old. Working just fine until yesterday. The internet wouldn't connect. I had the service provider out (2 hours) and talked to the phone support. Everything connects except the desktop. Phone connects, laptop connects. No internet. The final diagnosis is the DNS is defective.
What are my options?
should I buy a new computer? Can I fix it myself without taking it into the repair shop? The provider said a USB wireless adapter should work, but I'm leary.
I always buy HPs and this is the first time I'm getting crappy computers. This is a replacement for another one that didn't work. (Next time - a Dell?)

I hope someone will see this and my other question. I have no internet connection. The technician came out and tried to get it connected. My laptop connects to the wireless system, the cell phone connects, the VOIP connects. the tech told me that I had a defective DNS. He said that I should get a UsB wireless adapter. But I want the internet connection through my desktop.
Does anyone know what he means and how I can repair it through software?
