I get "This platform is not supported" when I run the Intel Management Engine update. What do I do now?

Skip and continue with next file

Tried to install the Firmware update thinking maybe I should do that first but sort of weird result - a batch file runs and says "attempting to install" but then just disappears after a while???

No its ok - that ran now. But the next 2 don't seem to be doing anything - see my replies above.

Restart Windows and run <Firmware update> again.

Ok done that - but the same result - it runs (I think) but then there is no message to say it has been successful - the DOS cmd file window just disappears after 30 seconds or so? How can I tell if it has been successful?

And still getting "this platform is not supported" when I run the Management Engine update.

Shall I just try and install the NIC card update (and hope that solves it all)?

This indicates that the software has already been updated -> up-to-date
