Shall I just try and install the NIC card update (and hope that solves it all)?

Hello @BlondeBeast

If you are ready do this:

--->>> How to Reset Network Settings in Windows 10

Kind regards

Doing it now. Nope, still getting "Unidentified network" and "No Internet", Also ran the Windows 10 Troubleshooter but I still get "Ethernet doesn't have a valid IP configuration"

Hello @BlondeBeast

(1) What router (Manufacturer and model) and type (CAT.x ?) of LAN cable do you use ?

(2) Which network port on the router do you use ? What is the description and color of the port ?

Sorry, I am now going to try the Intel Wired Driver - I didn't download that yet but am doing it now and will install it. Here's hoping!

It is Deutsche Telekom standard router and standard RS45 cable (I don't have/want WLAN in the house and turn it off). But as you can see I am online and I have over 5 other PCs that can connect so it is not router/cable.

And I have tried it on different ports.

I have also taken the cable out and re-plugged it back in - the port blinks several times - but still no network.

Hello @BlondeBeast

(1) Did you update the LAN driver using Windows <device manager>

or

(2) Using the INTEL's DxSetup.exe utility ?

Quote: "

DxSetup.exe installs the Intel PRO Network Connections drivers and software. It automatically detects the system language and launches in that language.

I have just turned off the Windows Defender Firewall public and private but to no avail.
