To change the network settings on your HP LaserJet MFP M140we printer, follow these steps:
Option 1: Restore Wi-Fi Setup Mode (Recommended for Changing Network)
This method resets the printer’s network settings so you can connect it to a new Wi-Fi network.
Steps:
- Turn on the printer and ensure it's in a ready state.
- Press and hold the Wireless button on the printer until the Attention light starts blinking.
- Wait about 60 seconds until the Wireless light blinks blue. This indicates the printer is in Wi-Fi setup mode.
- Open the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to add the printer and connect it to your new Wi-Fi network.

Option 2: Use the HP Smart App
If your printer is already connected but you want to change the network:
