Hi @Birdsong29
Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.
If your HP Envy 6132e printer is connected to Wi-Fi but won't print, follow these steps to troubleshoot the issue:
Verify Printer Connection
Check Wi-Fi Connection:
- Ensure your printer is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network. You can do this by checking the display panel on the printer for the connected network name.
Restart Devices:
- Restart your printer, computer, and router to refresh their connections and settings.
Print a Wireless Test Report:
- This can help you verify if the printer is properly connected to your Wi-Fi network. Access this feature via the printer control panel.
Check Printer Status
Set as Default Printer:
- Ensure the HP Envy 6132e is set as the default printer by navigating to the Control Panel > Devices and Printers. Right-click the printer and select “Set as default printer.”
Clear Print Queue:
- Go to the printer queue, cancel all pending documents, and try printing again.
Check for Errors:
- Look over the printer’s control panel for any error messages or alerts.
Update and Reinstall Printer Driver
Update Driver:
- Check the HP website for any updates to the printer's drivers and install them if available.
Reinstall Printer Software:
- Uninstall the printer software from your computer and reinstall it. This can resolve any software conflicts that might be affecting printing.
Use HP Support Tools
Use HP’s Diagnose & Fix Tool
- In the HP Smart app, click Printer Settings > Diagnose & Fix.
- Let it run a scan—it will automatically fix common connection issues.
You can also access this tool on HP’s support page if needed.
Let me know which step you’d like help with, or if you’ve already tried some of these. We’ll get your printer back in action!
