Following a recent power outage I have completely lost wireless capability on my Desktop.
Its an HP Envy 23-2002ee Touchsmart All In One Desktop and its been updated to Windows 10.
I have tried everything I can think of including rolling back to previous updates (it fails to do so by the way). Have tried searching on HP to download the wireless adapter but it only has downloads for windows 8 and they don't work.
The adapter is not showing up in Device Manager at all.
I found something on the computer that told me the wireless adapter name and I remember it said 'not present' and that it was a Ralink Wireless Network Driver but I can't find where I previously located that information.
Its driving me nuts trying to find a solution.
I did also buy Driver Talent in the hope it would be identified through that but it didn't find anything at all.
Does anyone know a fix or can provide the drivers?
TIA

Greetings @SueF26,
Welcome to HP Forums and Thanks for the post.
I understand that the wireless driver is no longer listed on your computer, is that right?
Kudos to you for trying to troubleshoot the issue on your own.
Not to worry, I will be glad to assist you.
Have you run a diagnostics on your computer?
Have you tried to update all the drivers using HP Support Assistant?
Recommend you run a wireless test on your computer and check if it passes.
Shut down the computer.
Wait for a minute.
Turn the computer On and keep tapping F2 repeatedly on startup to enter system diagnostics. Click here for assistance.
Select the component test and run a test on the wireless module.
If the test fails, please contact our phone support for any service options available.
If the test passes, restart your computer and run HP Support Assistant to update all the drivers on your computer. Click here for assistance.
I am unable to bring up the product details of your computer based on number shared by you.
Request you provide the exact product number of your computer. Click here for assistance.
If the wireless card is still not listed, check if you can reseat the wireless card on your computer.
Keep me posted.

Thanks. I don't have anything that I can easily see called a component check? I have a hard Disk Test, is that what you mean? Or something else?
i have an HP Envy 23-2002ee Touchsmart All In One Desktop PC, serial number CZC2496JJC. product no is C6U77EA#B1S
i did try running the HP diagnostics tool and I even wasted £17 on software to identify missing or updated drivers but it found nothing?
