In that case, check the following.
1. The halt code ( generated after 3 incorrect entries ) that you've posted is correct - be careful of the difference between the letter O and Zero ( a zero will have a dot in the centre ).
2. You entering the code on a QWERTY keyboard.
3. Shut down the notebook, unplug the AC Adapter and then remove the battery. Hold down the Power button for 30 seconds. Plug in the AC Adapter ( leave the battery out for the moment ), start the notebook and try entering the code again.
4. Try entering the code via an external usb QWERTY keyboard.

Father gave me his old mini and doesn't remember the password.

Can anybody please help? And do I enter that "e9lo" type password into BIOS manager or the winds log on screen?
BIOS password should be reset to nothing by hitting ENTER correct?
