Do you have Crysis 3 and Far Cry 3? I'm wondering what sort of frames you get on these games compared to the 780M which can play on maximum.

I'm in the market for a new card and the 770M is far more affordable.

My son has Crysis 3,

He's the gamer

I will ask him tomorrow

Do yo want to know with the default clock settings or

overclock settings with MSI Afterburner (Core +135 /Memory +500)

The core is locked at +135, so with a modded Vbios you will get more frames (1.05 volt)

There is a much better mod Vbios in the making with much higher clocks on 1.1 volt

The gtx770m is certainly the better choice especially after the mod Vbios at 1.1 volt

You must  put the fan speed on at least  2 stripes with the gtx770m otherwise the Nvidia drivers crash in OC

what card do you have now in your system

Thanks Shaquille for the info.

I had a 680M that broke (was faulty). I havn't replaced it yet so I'm just using the onboard Intel stuff on my CPU. For memory, Crysis 2 ran at maximum at 1920x1080.

 Was the 680m a 2 or 4gb version

Hopefully you got your money back

So ok i will run it at that resolution, (1920x1080) crisis3

I can do the test also with crisis2 if you want

How many clicks was your fan speed on running the 680m ?

What is your fan speed at now, using the onboard Intel stuff on the CPU ?

Do you want to do a simple OC or are you willing to use a mod Vbios ?

Yep, I got my money back. It was the 4GB model. It was for the Clevo laptops.

Yes, please test with Crysis 2 as well. Great games. Do you or your son play at the native resolution at all?

Just the default fan speed. The HP Perforamce Advisor said the temp for the card was fine. Fan speed is still at default for the Intel, mainly because it is requivilent to a PCI card from 1998, or at least seems to be.

I noticed in your screenshots the vendor is listed as Dell - do Dell ones works just as well as Clevo?

Yes please Shaquille. Both settings please if you can. Thanks a bunch.

I will report back to you about the games and resolution later because of my son's school schedule.

Get the  MSI or the DELL (subvendor) because of the assistens and the information i can provide you with about overclocking with or without a Modded Vbios (to unlock the card for higher over clocking and Stable)

A friend of mine who helped me has the MSI (subvender), so that's also a good choice.

HP SRS Audio improved my sound with 300%, :smileyhappy:

HP My Display is perfect to set up your screen for gamming.
