My KU-0841 keyboard's volume up, volume down and mute keys aren't working. When I press them the volume doesn't change and the volume status display on the monitor doesn't show. The monitor model is HP-2010i.( I believe that is an "i" at the end.)
My Windows 64 bit Device Manager is reporing 2 drivers for the keyboard: HID Keyboard Driver and Microsoft USB Dual Receive ireless Keyboard (IntellType Pro). Although, this is not a wireless but a USB keyboard.
My HP Desktop is a Pavilion p6520y.
Any help will be appreciated,
James

I am having this same problem with my KU-0841 keyboard. The volume keys improve my efficiency at work, and it would be great to find a fix for this.
If you're up for it James, would you explain what exactly you did to get your volume keys working again?

Hello holdenm2,
You’re having a problem with the volume keys not working.
If James was having the same problem, he went to device manager and clicked on human interface device.
Right clicked USB input device and selected enable.
If the only option that you have is to disable, go ahead and select uninstall and restart the computer.
This will uninstall and reinstall the driver for the keyboard.
Here is a link to device manager.
Clicking the White Kudos star on the left is a way to say Thanks!
Let me know how everything goes.
Have a good day.
