I have an issue with the same problem, I have an HP 2000-2b89WM Notebook PC 64 bit opertaing syterm window 8. What dirver shoudl I download so that my ethernet wil start working again?

You need this driver for the ethernet controller (wired network adapter).

I downlowaded it and restarted the computer it worked for about a half hour then stopped working, idk if this helps but when I plug in the ethernet cord one light is white the other is an orange blinking light

Hi:
For the hardware ID of PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_1677, go to your PC's support and driver page and download and install the ethernet drivers for the Broadcom NetXtreme Gigabit Ethernet Controller.
Without knowing the full model number of your PC and the operating system you need the drivers for, that is the best I can do.

It appears you need the graphics driver.
