I had a hard time finding some drivers(ethernet controller and SM bus driver) for a new HP 250 G1 laptop. Uniblue Driverscanner automatically updated all the drivers with the newest versions including mentioned above. Excellent job from the developers.

In have been having the same issue as well. Can't seem to find my driver anywhere and can't get online to get the update.

For the ethernet controller:

Hi I am having the same problem. I`m running Compaq presirio cq5700y.

It`s window 7 home premium but not upgraded yet . 32 bit

Hi I`m new here and I have the same problem. My daughter got a new computer so I took hers and reformatted and it wiped it out. It`s a compaq preserio cq700y Windows 7 home but not upgraded yet. 32 bit.

Hy,

 

I'm new here.

I reinstalled my windows (I still use windows XP+SP3, oddly, I like it better than the newer ones), and I found out that I'm missing the Ethernet Controller......I read some of the posts on this thread, and got really confused, I couldn't find the link to the driver I need, and I got even more confused.

I really need some help.

 

Mine's a Compaq nc6120, and I believe this is the string one would need to find the right driver:

 

PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_165E&SUBSYS_099C103C&REV_03\4&AD1B67F&0&70F0
