And one more thing:
In my "display adpters" before it says:
AMD Radeon HD 7400M Series (Microsoft Corporation - WDDM v1.20)
Intel(R) HD Graphics 3000
Now it says:
Standard VGA Graphics Adapter
Standard VGA Graphics Adapter
what is misssing aside from a driver?
Thank you so much Paul for your time...

You're very welcome, Mickee.
These should be the other drivers you need...Please install in the order I have posted them.
Lets's try a slightly different video driver:

Hi Paul,
I have downloaded all the driver installed them and it worked perfect!! Thank you very much..
What bothers me is that my device manager is showing the incorrect Graphic cards it now says:
Intel(R) HD Graphics Family
Radeon (TM) HD 64700M
where as it should be:
AMD Radeon HD 7400M Series (Microsoft Corporation - WDDM v1.20)
Intel(R) HD Graphics 3000

Hi:
Below is the link to the product specs page for your specific model.
http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c02751865=
It indicates your PC came with the AMD Radeon HD 6470M video adapter, which is also what the hardware ID indicated that you posted, which is why I posted the link to the 6470 video driver.
I don't know why the auto detect thing doesn't work. That has happened to me too. As long as you see the product number and serial number in the system information window in the BIOS, then I wouldn't be concerned about it.

Hi:
Boot up the PC and either tap the ESC or F10 key at the beginning of the HP welcome screen.
You should then see a system information screen or a menu to take you to it.
Esc or F10 depends on how old the PC is and you will have to try both. One of them will work.
