This is a two part question. The first question is in reference to HP Security bulletin c04393276. According to this bulletin, there is a Bios update for HP Pavilion p6-xxxx desktops with software ID SP60768. I have an HP pavilion p6-2100. I know this update is not listed on my particular PC's driver update page. However, would this update work for my PC?
Second question: HP manufactured Pavilion PC's with the Pegatron AAHD-2 Holly motherboard what came from the factory with bios versions greater than AMI 7.15. I have seen as high as AMI 7.24. If HP is not going to issue a BIOS update for my computer, can the BIOS versions installed on those computer be used?

They didn't begin using full UEFI Firmware until mid-Octobler, 2012. Your conputer was released in January, 2012. So, the update will not work in your computer.

No, you should never attempt to use any update that is not listed on the Software/Driver page for your particular model.
