Product: HP TOUCHSMART IQ500
Operating System: Microsoft Windows Vista (64-bit)

i need to purchase a set of recovery disks for the Touchsmart IQ 500. i would assume that the drivers will be on the disk or no.

i have the original COA.

Allow me to welcome you to the HP forums!


Sorry, but I don't have very good news for you ...

HP typically stocks Recovery Media only for 3-5 years and your PC is a LOT older than that.  This means that HP can no longer supply you with Recovery Media for it.

 

You can try these other locations, but I seriously doubt they will even still carry it:  
http://www.computersurgeons.com/ and http://www.restoredisks.com/
