May the Forums be with you! It is a great place to find the help you need, from other users, HP experts and other support personnel. I understand that you are looking for a instructions on how to remove the stand on your display. I am happy to give you a hand with this.

 

The instructions you are looking for are in this document in the "Setting up the monitor" step: HP w2408 and w2408h Flat Panel LCD Monitor - Setting Up Your Monitor
