HP Reverb G1 Professional
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi community,

Issue:

I have a 6-month-old Reverb G1 Pro. Today I was using it for about an hour and the screen is suddenly only showing grey noise after briefly going black like a TV on a channel you don't get with purple and blue mixed in but still tracking. It's been blacking out on and off and getting worse but restarting it usually fixes that However, nothing is fixing it now.

Troubleshooting:

I've tried switching the display port switched graphics cards and USB ports, I've reinstalled associated drivers and WMR. and I did not do any updates recently before the issue arrived.

Proc. Core  i7 7700

Memory 32MB ram

Graphics card RTX 2080 TI

OS Win 10 64bit

Thanks for any help.

I had exactly the same problem on 7 Jan 20. I checked my Nvidia gpu driver and saw it had been updated that day. (I'm afraid I couldn't tell you which version it was). When I rolled back to the previous version of the driver (dated some time in July 2020) the issue went away.

Good luck!
