Omen 25l Desktop
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Is there a way to change the blinking white light that occurs when the desktop is in sleep mode? Would be great to turn it off completely, lower the brightness, or change it so just the internal light is on. Thanks!

Yep I did all that.. there is no setting in the HP omen command center to determine sleep setting lighting...

If it is not possible that is totally ok, just let me know.

@xxcharlie Here's all you can do, to resolve the issue:

To Set up the OMEN LED lights for single or multi-stage light sequences, system usage and temperature indicators, audio show, or turn off the lights completely.

Select any of the following sections to learn about configuring the lighting scheme:

  • Static Colors
  • Color Show
  • System Monitor
  • Audio Show

For details: click here & look under Customize the LED lighting.

That link refers to the Omen Control app -- it's been deprecated and replaced by Omen Command Center, which doesn't have those options. Is there a way to fix this that works now?

HP Recommended

@Riddle_Decipher Yeah did all this too. I can change it for when the computer is active, not when the computer is asleep. I'm specifically asking if it is possible to turn the blinking white light off when the computer is asleep.  I've had absolutely no issues with adjusting the settings normally.

Has anyone figured this out yet?  I would really enjoy not having a bright, blinking light all night long coming from outside my door.

Ya I have a HP omen 30l and I have no answer for the blinking light while in sleep mode. Very annoying.
