Thank you for the additional information, @KungCharlie!  Not a problem.  We were all new at one time on the Forums.

According to the Product Specifications there is no DVD Drive:  https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-pavilion-gaming-desktop-pc-790-0000i/20395823/model/24596567...

The slot for it to be installed is not being used.  There would be a button to open it if it was installed.

Please click the Thumbs up + button if I have helped you and click Accept as Solution if your problem is solved.

@KungCharlie , welcome to the forum.

What is the Product Number of the computer? I need this information to review the specifications of it. Please don't furnish the Serial # or other personal information. You can find the Product Number at the bottom of the page when you open HP Support Assistant.
