Hello, I’m frustrated because I cannot find a solution. Hoping someone out there will know how to cure this problem.
SPECS: HP OMEN 30L GT13-0000i
motherboard:
manufacture: HP
Model: 8703
Chipset: Intel
Z490
Bios: brand AMI
BIOS VERSION: F.23
Memory being used:
CORSAIR - Vengeance LPX CMK16GX4M2B3200C16 16GB (2PK X 8GB) 3200MHz DDR4 C16 DIMM Desktop Memory - Black
PROBLEM:
When checking the timings of my ram they sit at 2133. Omen hub doesn’t recognize the ram due to it not being HP brand so I cannot adjust anything there.
When I enter Bios and change the memory profile to XMP PROFILE1 or XMP PROFILE2 and save changes, the computer beeps at me, 3 long 2 short.
Looked the code for that up and it says it failed to return from memory initialization.
Beeps several more times before eventually booting up. And the memory speeds remain lower than wanted.
I have tried using Intel XTU, however, the program does not give me the option to adjust memory timing.
So if anyone knows how to increase the timings of my memory sticks, without replacing my MOBO, I would be eternally grateful and the stress ball in my neck and shoulder would be at ease.
Thank you!

It was my understanding with the latest Bios updates that the memory clocking done in there (BIOS) was meant for non stock and non HP memory.
Prior to the latest versions there was no option to adjust memory timings other than the omen gaming Hub.

Hi
Yes, the BIOS update does allow XMP on different memory. I would think the Corsair memory you have does not qualify if you cannot use higher data transfer rate. The memory timings may not match.
Most MB makers provide a QVL for tested memory. I don't think HP does this.

HP Certified Extreme Memory Profile (XMP)-compatible RAM can be overclocked to run at faster speeds using Memory Turbo Mode in the Overclocking tab of OMEN Gaming Hub. XMP-compatible memory that is not certified by HP is not configurable in OMEN Gaming Hub. You can use the OMEN Setup Utility to overclock XMP memory that has not been certified by HP.
