When I select 'Restart' the computer appears to shutdown, but the fan and lights remain on. The computer will not restart on its own. I have to hold the power button and force a full shutdown where the fan and lights turn off. Any suggestion how to get this feature working properly?
Windows 10 (2004) and all drivers are updated. When I select "Shut down" the computer shuts down normally. I'm only having this problem with the "Restart" feature.

@Brusay , welcome back to the forum.
Give this a try to see if it helps:
- Right-click on an open spot on the right side of the Taskbar
- Click on Task Manager
- Scroll down to Windows Explorer
- Right, click on Windows Explorer.
- Click on Restart.
Please click the Thumbs up + button if I have helped you and click Accept as Solution if your problem is solved.

You are welcome, @Brusay!
I suggest that you go to Microsoft's Community website to ask them if they can help: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/
They are the experts on their products and should be able to give you some ideas of what to try. I have searched and can't find any other solutions.
