Pavilion 15-cx0xxx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I was trying to use HP recovery options to reset my laptop then an error occurred after C drive had been formatted.

When I restart my laptop I get this :

I had checked boot options before I tried to use USB flash drive with windows 10 installed on so I can reset everything and that's what I get :

nothing happens when I press any of these keys Enter ,F1 ,F8 and ESC.

I ran system diagnostics to see if there is a problem with any of the hardware and everything is alright.

Pls help

 Hello @Mizar1

How did you do the recovery?

Either the re-installation of Windows corrupted or the drive actually failed. The 3F0 error Usually indicates a bad drive.

You could try doing a clean install via the MS Media Creation Tool and an 8GB USB thumb drive. Use another windows 10 PC to make the installer.

1. Make sure to reset the bios to default settings first. F10 to reset, then F10 again to save and exit.

2. During the creation of the installer, it will ask if you want to make the installer compatible with the current computer you are using. Uncheck that box, then continue.

3.. Then when reinstalling to the Pavilion laptop, when Windows asks how you want to install, choose Custom installation. Then delete all the partitions on the drive, then continue.

If the drive fails to install Windows, you will probably have to replace the drive.
