Same here. But mine has either bright, dim and off. Not the most interesting way for backlight keyboard to function, but it does get the job done. And in fact that my current gaming laptop (HP Pavilion Gaming 15-DK0051WM) is only green keys with green light, which they're painted black. Which it is interesting. But sadly the plastic on them isn't as strong with my old HP EliteBook 8440P is.

HP Recommended

The backlight on my laptop is like blue or white its hard to tell. but the letters on the black keys light up when the light is on.
