Pavilion Gaming Laptop 17-cd0028nw
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I bought a laptop about six months ago. Recently, both "shift" keys stopped working properly with some other keys, for example "1", "2", "3", "4", "7", "8", "9", "0". Accordingly, I cannot use symbols bound to these keys, like @. Diagnostics of the keyboard using "hp pc hardware diagnostics" did not find any problems, the methods suggested on the hp support site did not help either. What to do?

Welcome to HP Community

I have gone through your Post and would like to help

Did you run the Test from F2 Diagnostic?

Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the Notebook.
- Turn on the computer and immediately press Esc repeatedly, about once every second.
- When the menu appears, press the F2 key.
- On the main menu, click Component Tests and Keyboard

If you did already, then ensure you have the latest BIOS installed https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers

Then try reinstalling the Keyboard driver from device manager

Keep me posted
