OMEN Laptop - 17-cb1523na
Microsoft Windows 11

My OMEN Laptop is at FULL 100% BRIGHTNESS however the screen still appears fairly dim and I strain my eyes to view information.

Is there anyway to enhance the BRIGHTNESS further than the default slider in the settings?

Thank you,

Christopher

Hi@ChrisGZ,

Welcome to the HP Support Community! I'd like to help!

I see you are experiencing brightness issues with the HP Omen Laptop appears dim.

I have a few recommendations

  • Update your Notebook computer to the latest BIOS from HP.COM.
  • Make sure the Windows and HP support assistant updates are up to date.
  • Try connecting an external monitor and check if it works fine.

Try and check in Bios using the F10 key if the screen is dim in Bios. To enter Bios, click restart and keep tapping the F10 key and then turn on the PC at the same time to enter Bios screen.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
