Omen 15-dc0051nr
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi!

Did anyone ever try upgrade HP omen laptop 15 that more than 2.5" 2tb SSD like 2.5" 4tb SSD?

As I know The dimensions of 2.5" 2tb SSHD and 2.5" 4tb SSD look almoat same to me (maybe). If you compare both seagate firecuda hard drives (SSHD and SSD)

The 2.5 inch dimensions will be the same for all 2.5 inch drives with the exception of the thickness.

Usually its the HDDs that are the concern as 4TB goes up to 15mm thick and wont fit.

But a 4TB SSD should still be around 7mm and will work. Drives between 7 and 9.5mm thick will fit.

This is how the new seagate firecuda 120 SSD 4tb size said in their own website compared to our known of seagate firecuda SSHD 2tb size.

I'm afraid I'm not understanding what it is you are looking at specifically. Both specs show 2.5 inch at 7mm thickness.

the 2.5 inch form factor is the same for all drives of that size. Its only the thickness that makes a difference.

the SSDs on that page all come in 7mm. Any small differences in length and width wont amount to enough to make a difference as far as it fitting your laptop.

You should be good to go. If you have other questions, let me know.
