Change brightness without disabling Freesync

HP Omen 25

I got an HP Omen 25 monitor so I could use FreeSync with my computer, but any time I change the brightness of the monitor with the monitor itself or third party software it disables the FreeSync profile, is there any way to work around this or do I have to choose between high brightness and no freesync on a dedicated freesync monitor?

I reviewed your post and I understand that when you change the display brightness the AMD free sync turns off.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

You will not be able to manually adjust the brightness, contrast or sharpness of the monitor as it put the monitor to custom mode. If you want to use the AMD free sync and cannot change the display setting manually from the monitor OSD menu and it is by design.

I hope that answers your question and you have a great day!
