I saw a earlier post that had this same problem but the solution was sent through pm, the tiny plastic piece that holds the Ethernet cable in the laptop broke and i cannot find any site that sells a replacment

Hello, generally the clip is in the cable, so it is just your cable who is broken, any on your PC?? 

If it is just your cable you can replace it easier:

No, this clip is not on the cable or it is a easy replacement,  this clip is in the laptop it self, it is part of the ethernet port that is connected to the shell, just a tiny piece of plastic that broke that i need to replace
