Hello,

I have 2,5 years old HP Omen 17" laptop and hinges are already creating a problems. Right hinge is not holding in place and created a crack in plastic cover. Both hinges are making sounds like they are worned although this laptop is not so old and not used daily.

I'm very dissapointed with this product and HP generally as I have other laptop which is 10 years old and I have never experienced any issues with him. (It is not HP)

This problem is not so rare as can be seen on many forums and I'm at loss why HP whould sell defective product for 1000+ euros.

Ofcourse my warranty have expired so I would need to pay out of my pocket to fix it.

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

If you are unfamiliar with how the Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.
