Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I just bought the new Hp Omen Laptop for my brother 2 days ago.

After using a while, the laptop resets and shows the error "Boot Device Not Found 03f0".

I choose the "Exit" option, my screen goes back to the window and keeps happening after using a while again. How can I fix it?

@Allen174

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are getting a 3F0 error on the computer while using it.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

I recommend you update the BIOS from the below link and check if it helps.

@Allen174  Usually that error points to a failing hard drive. On rare occasion, reinstalling Windows can fix it, if its the OS that's faulty.

You really need to contact HP Support for warranty support. They will need to replace the bad drive.

Or if the purchase is only days old, you might be able to simply return the laptop to the store for an exchange, depending on where you bought it from (faster).

I tried to follow your solution but still happens. I wondered if the issue happen to all of the Omen Model or only with my Laptop because it is the defective one. I will go to exchange to another one today

Its not the laptop per say. Its the drive itself. Drives as well as all the other parts are made by different manufacturers. Sometimes a new drive will fail, no matter what the situation. It is what it is, but HP will make it right.

I would go ahead and have it exchanged.
