I own an HP Victus Gaming Laptop 15-fa0xxx, and recently, the hinge broke due to what seems to be a manufacturing defect. I have noticed many other Victus users facing the same issue, which raises concerns about the product's durability.
The hinge issue appeared shortly after my warranty expired on August 13, 2024, and if not addressed soon, it might lead to display damage, increasing repair costs. This seems like a design flaw affecting multiple users.
Has anyone found a solution, or has HP acknowledged this issue? I would appreciate any guidance on how to get this resolved, preferably with free repair or replacement, given the widespread nature of this problem.
Looking forward to your responses.

Hi @Dhinesh_K,
Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're stoked to have you on board!
I understand how concerning this must be, and I appreciate you reaching out.
To better assess the situation, could you confirm if there was any accidental damage, or did the hinge break under normal usage? This will help determine the best course of action.
HP is committed to customer satisfaction, and I’ll do my best to guide you through the next steps!
Best regards,

Hey Thanks for reaching me. The hinge breaks under normal usage that too after the warranty period ends and there is no accidental damage. I have asked in service center about this issue and they told that if we open and close the laptop the issue occurs, then how will we use the laptop? I'm not a working professional I am a student how can my laptop be opened all the time? If this issue happened only with me you can say that i have made something wrong but most of the victus users facing this issue saying it is manufacturing design defect. Kindly respond and i guess i have answered your questions. Thank you

It's so pathetic that hinge of my HP victus was broken and it's out of warranty now, this is a common manufacturing defect in entire Victus series. There are many facing the same problem. You guys should replace the parts or repair for free of cost as it is a wide spread manufacturing defect. This is not expected from brand like hp. Hope my issue will be sorted
