I bought an omen 17 about 2 years ago and had only used it for graphic design purposes. Unfortunately it had issues for the motherboard and the authorised service center did nothing for me since they said there was no main problem with the computer( no overheating, graphics card problems what so ever) they stated clearly that there is an issue with the motherboard and they cant fix it and will not replace it for me even though it is a manufacturing problem. I am very disappointed with such a high end product that I paid a very steep price. The computer just freezes and shuts down after a few minutes. Service from the authorised service center is terrible. I do not recommend buying it !

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
