HP site shows my Laptops Product number and Serial number as Invalid !!!

I went on HP Support site to check for new Software and Driver updates,

at that point you have to enter your Serial Number or Product Number, of which both have been stated as Invalid, even though my laptop is still under Warranty.

HOW CAN THIS HAPPEN  ???

Although, I'll need some private information from you in order to create a case for you.

Please look for a private message requesting additional information. 

Keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers, case details, etc...).
