He envy laptop not turning on

Hi folks I hope this message finds you well, I’m not super knowledgeable on laptops but I own an HP envy laptop that I love, recently I went to plug it in and it would not turn on after unplugging it and trying a different wall unit the laptop shut off and when I picked up the charger it shocked me, i disposed of that charger (it had no visible issues as far as I could see) and tried a new one and the laptop would not charge nor turn on. 

is my laptop fried I just got this laptop 5 months ago I’d hate for it to be broken?

This looks like a hardware issue, we have limited support boundaries in the support community as of now. I would request you to contact our HP Support Engineers who should be able to sort this out. HP provides repair or service options as well. Hence I encourage you to contact HP support.
