I decided to buy a secondhand omen. I found one that looks good works perfectly but 1/3 of the supposed secondhand market price I suspect that it might be a stolen laptop is there a way to figure this out? I can get my hands on the product before buying if neccessary.

Hello @vacate3413
Just ask the seller if he can show you a proof of ownership (invoice, emails about the purchase) and if the notebook is registered in his name at HP. The serial number is important ! Ask why he sells the notebook and if there are any problems. Let the seller play a game and observe if the notebook gets extremely loud (fan) or overheats and crashes ! Otherwise I advise you to keep your hands off it !
Kind regards
