@Photoray002, thank you for the response!

@old_geekster  I gave up asking in IC about this stuff. I couldn't get the folks in Texas to respond anymore and if they did, they bypass us and respond only on user posts. Perhaps you can ask them and they will respond to you?

HP doesnt do the best job of detailing what has what with the Omen Info page.

If the Omen history remains constant, it might be conducive to the specs. Thermal fan might only work on systems with a 2060 and above. HP will have to clarify.

@tc_kasu, as you can see, it is difficult for us to know which models, with which components, will have the options that are mentioned in the guide.  The specifications for your laptop don't even show which video adapter that you have installed.  It may well be that it doesn't meet the requirements for the Heat Control.  The only suggestion that I have is see if you can find an updated version of Omen Gaming Hub.

@tc_kasu , welcome to the forum.

Here is the official website for the Omen Gaming Hub: https://www.omen.com/us/en/omen-gaming-hub.html

It appears that the only fan control is in the section titled "Performance Control".  Here is what it says:

Control your PC’s performance with three optimized modes. “Comfort" to reduce noise and temperature, “Default” for everyday tasks, and “Performance” with OMEN Dynamic Power when it's time to squad up.9

Please click the Thumbs up + button if I have helped you and click Accept as Solution if your problem is solved.

Thanks for your help!

You can see Thermal Control region and the fan speed slider in lower image, that is what I looking for.

HP Customer Support shows  my laptop (OMEN 15-ekxxxx, enxxxx Laptop PC series) does have this feature, but it didn't.

@Photoray002, do you have any input on this situation?  It appears there may be a problem with the guide for Omen Gaming Hub.

Right. He's using a GTX1660Ti so it might be the reason. If i do hear anything else, I'll come back.

@Photoray002, thank you!  Yes, the 1660 uses less wattage.  So, it is inclined to overheat.

Thermal Control looks like didn't apply in OGH but OCC, lol. So HP guide should be right.

Finally understanding, thanks for both of your kind replying!

Well there you go. HP does not cooperate with us here in the forum anymore and now that we are no longer privy to loan machines to learn of the new features, we are rendered clueless as to what HP is doing with the new models.

Funny how you would think they would make an effort to  inform us, since we are saving them so much money on free support here.  Thanks for the update @tc_kasu
