Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

the system is reserving 2gb o ram for the igpu, there's only 8gb in the system, which leaves me with only 5gb, and well, i dont see this as necessary since my laptop has already a dedicated gpu which is a 1650 with 4gb of vram, so i want to free those 2gb reserved by the hardware since most of the games wont do well on 5gb

Hi:

 

Unfortunately, you won't be able to do anything about that memory 'tax.,' other than to add more physical memory.

 

The notebook model series was actually designed that way on purpose.

 

HP released this document a while back, which explains the memory shortage...

This seems to only apply to models with AMD Ryzen 3xxx processors.
