HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop - 16-a0022tx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

What is the best option if the laptop has a motherboard issue? I was told the motherboard is not drawing power. Before it stopped working for the last few days it had a tremendous heating issue .. especially the battery portion was overheating (I could sense it from above the palmrest of the laptop) but I couldn't hear the fans. Is this a common issue for this model? If that's the case I will buy a different model instead of replacing the motherboard.

Hi@RamyaDutta,

Welcome to the HP Support Community! I'd like to help!

I see you are experiencing no power issues with the HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop. I apologize for the Inconvenience.

As it is a hardware issue on the motherboard and we have limited support boundaries in the support community as of now. I would request you to contact our HP Support Engineers and should be able to sort this out.

Please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region regarding the service/replacement options.
