The laptop will only charge if it is shut down or asleep. I have the pavilion gaming laptop, model 15t dk100. The problem started about a month ago, and from poking around a bit online it sounded like what what causing it was the battery having a reduced capacity, and not being able to handle both discharging and charging. I replaced the battery recently, but the problem is still happening. There don't appear to be any other issues with the device.
