Hi people,
Since recently i have this problem that my left fan is way louder then my right fan, it isn't that loud but it gets really annoying when im studying or just watching a movie, i've tried updating the BIOS and it did'nt fix it. In Speedfan it shows one fan is running way faster, i think thats the left one because that one is the loudest. The weird part is that all the temperatures are ok and the left fan is located under the hard drive(the right one under the CPU and GPU) so it really doesnt make any sense to me that that one is running faster.
I've tried calling the HP help center but theyre not more useful then searching on forums.
Thanks for replying

Hi! @Diederik60, Thank you for visiting the HP Forums! A great place where you can find solutions for your issues with help from the community!
I understand the left cooling fan on your laptop is running faster than the right side.
Don't worry I'll try to help you out.
Did you make any software or hardware changes on your laptop?
As you mentioned the left cooling fan on your laptop is running louder than the right side.
To properly ventilate the computer, allow at least 7.6 cm (3 in) of clearance on the left side
of the computer. The computer uses an electric fan for ventilation. The fan is controlled by a temperature
sensor and is designed to turn on automatically when high-temperature conditions exist. These conditions
are affected by high external temperatures, system power consumption, power management/battery
conservation configurations, battery fast charging, and software requirements. Exhaust air is displaced
through the ventilation grill located on the left side of the computer.
Also, try updating the chipset drivers and BIOS on your PC using HP support assistant and check if it helps.
