Hi there,
I'm using HP notebook - 15q-ds0xxx and Windows 10 OS. I'm facing issue on charging my laptop. My laptop charges upto around 75% and not charging beyond that. I have ran the Battery test/check on both HP Hardware Diagnostic tool and HP support assistant. Both says ok(Passed & Normal). On viewing the details of battery check it says that charging capacity is 74%.
Also the laptop suddenly turns off without any prompt for low battery, when it reaches around 15 %. I thought it may be due to driver issue. So I have tried uninstalling the battery from device manager and restarted, to reinstall the battery driver, yet no luck. The issue remains same.
Can anyone help me to fix this issue.

Firstly please run the following step first
Testing and calibrating the battery
For the problem, you can reduce to 5% or lower if you wish. Please use following steps
- Right click battery then select Power options
- From Current plan, click Change plan settings
- Click Change advanced power settings,
- Go down to the bottom and expand Battery
- Now you can see many things you can do
- Click Apply/OK to get out.
Regards.

On testing the battery by all 3 methods, it has been passed and it says my battery is okay and normal and they doesn't suggest me to calibrate the battery.
Though I try to calibrate manually, I charged up to 74%, as my laptop won't charge beyond that. and then I discharged completely, but it turned off earlier, before reaching critical level. They doesn't even went to hibernate, directly shut downs.
