My product name in the system settings does not match any of the devices on the official site.

HP Recommended
Pavilion Gaming - 17-cd0030nw
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

the product name that the system settings give me is HP Pavilion Gaming - 17-cd0xxx

which parts do not match ? 

 

Your machine is a member of the series/family HP Pavilion Gaming - 17-cd0xxx.  You can use manuals, drivers and many things using HP Pavilion Gaming - 17-cd0xxx or HP Pavilion Gaming - 17-cd0000. Confusion isn't it ?

 

As you can see, xxx can be from 000aa to 999zz and your machine is HP Gaming Pavilion - 17-cd0030nw

   

Hope this makes sense.
