OMEN Laptop 15-ek0xxx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Basically, before this Command Center update I wasn't really monitoring the temps. But I tried monitoring them yesterday. In GTA 5 I had around 85 usually, but sometimes it did spike to 95C and even 100C for a second or two. This is quite concerning to me. However, it was still green, so there's nothing to worry about? Also in League, while also having my browser open in Youtube and some few other apps it seems to have touched 98C. I don't know if it's worth mentioning, but the laptop doesn't really feel that hot, even though it says 90C+ on there.

Specs: RTX 2060, i7-10750, 16GB RAM.

Hi@Cosmin26, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I reviewed your post and I understand that the computer is overheating.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

I would like to inform you that 90C is normal on the gaming computer. I recommend you use the Omen command center to change the settings which suit your needs.

Hello, same situation with Omen 15 2020 but with i5-10300H, I think it is a known event by now in all CPUs, unfortunately nothing can be done because it is normal for them to heat up so much.
But if you find it useful to check in the Omen Gaming Hub app they have added an interesting feature to undervolt in a safe way, this should help a little.
Greetings.
