Hi, for the "undervolting" page just show introduction but cannot run it, this is because your Intel XTU service is stopped. you can try to install OMEN SDK driver again to enable the XTU driver. I list the link as below. usually you can find it from HP.com/support website, and find our your product and it is in the "software solutions"

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp110001-110500/sp110380.exe

for your first photo, seems it is performance counter error that cannot query CPU information. Try to run below steps:

  1. Close OMEN gaming hub, and close it in “Task manager” as well
  2. Open "Command prompt" with administrator mode
  3. Enter the command “lodctr /r” and press Enter.
  4. Restart your laptop.

Let's see if it works. Thanks.

Thanks @Waley

Is the lodctr /r command the complete command? There isn't a file name that needs to be specified also?

If I run that on my systems as is written, I get an error...

Error: Unable to rebuild performance counter setting from system backup store, error code is 2
C:\windows\system32>

Was wondering if that does not work, would going into Services.MSC and restarting XTUOCDriverService do the trick?

@Photoray002

Hi, this command of "lodctr /r" is to rebuild performance counter, to resolve the CPU show N/A message in System vitals.

and I list the OMEN SDK driver, run that driver can re-enable XTU service. just go to service cannot enable the XTU driver again. Need to run SDK driver.

They are different issue and resolution.

@alicheek Need Alicheek to try both to fix his 2 issues. Thanks.

HI Guys,

Sorry for the delay turns out it was the XTU driver which was not working so i downloaded the latest version from intel and that got undervolting and the CPU usage working again.

Thanks again for the input 🙂

Good to know @alicheek. Thanks for the update!

I had an issue where my Omen would randomly reboot or would reboot as it would startup. I had to install XTU directly from Intel to stop it from happening. Seems XTU in the HP software can be wonky.
