Omen 17
Microsoft Windows 11

The backlight on my Omen died after only two years. I was hoping I could get a replacement, but unsure where to find any part numbers, or additional information.

Has anyone done a replacement LCD on one of these?

Omen Gaming Laptop

17"

Thank you!

Joe

So I don't have the laptop to check - but I have the original PO/packing list and box.

I believe the number would be (from the PO):

7LG51AV - BU W/K PHTM OMEN 17t-cb000 CTO

The number I have for the display is:

7NP24AV - LCD 17.3 UHD AG LED UWVA 400slim60HzNWBZ

The box it came in has this:

Product Number: 5VX37AV

I hope that gets you what you need, as the laptop is at a repair shop (who says they need to rip apart the display to get the part number.  So if none of those numbers is what you need, then I'll have to fetch it from them.

Thank you,

joe

Awesome - that was a great start.  Although, that was the "base" model - when I searched via my serial number it gave me the proper display part number!

Now, how do I go about finding it?  A quick web search reveals NOTHING for exact part number:

P/N: L66926-3G2   LCD 17.3 UHD AG LED UWVA 400slim60HzNWBZ

Searching just for the L66926 gives me a few hits in China, but as P/N L66926-3G1.

Am I able to source a replacement directly from HP at all?

Thanks!

joe
