HP Omen dc0022na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My HP Omen 15 dc0022na Support Assistant updated the system bios to version F.08 today.

Is there a summary on what was changed in the bios update or useful info regarding the update?

Thanks

Im guessing you found the update via the HP Support Assistant because its not listed in the Drivers section for your model.

If so, what is the SoftPaq number of the update and I can look it up?

If you click on the questionmark next to the notice, it will give the numbers.

Think it is SP95163

I dont find anything under that SoftPaq number. Are you sure that is it?

This is the worst BIOS update till date (BIOS F.08).

I didn't saw any details and it is not even available in hp drivers page and my system automatically downloaded the latest bios to F.08 and updated after restart. Now, what i'm seeing is CPU & GPU thermals they are always 88-96 *C just playing playing games for 5 mins.

Worst BIOS , that's all...

friends Do reply if you also facing the same issue, so that HP releases one more stable update for BIOS.

Oh wow, that sucks.

So far I have only been playing MMOs after the BIOS update, so not necessarily seeing any high changes to CPU-GPU temps. I do have a undervolt of -125 active.

That being said, the laptop does feel marginally sluggish. A reason could be last weeks windows update which added glitches to mouse movements too. I hope HP releases detailed changes they made to the BIOS,

And hope that there is user fan control option being worked upon in a future BIOS,

Mine has slower startup time while booting in windows. The thermal is ok.... But the startup time is really slow. It took 4 seconds to load the BIOS while the windows only like... 2 secs. I am really mad at that... hope they will update their BIOS performance soon.
